Hi Kris—I'm not sure what's going on with your settings. You may want to check with the XMind Google group here.

I fiddled with the page setup, specifically the margins and can't seem to get them back to normal. Nothing will print when I try to print and the margins have E's in them. Also the number boxes are coming up in weird spots. Is there a way I can go back to the default settings. I can't seem to get them back to that again. Any help would be amazing!

Thanks for your comments, Andy -- I've noticed a lot of improvements since the first release. When I get the chance I'll update this post to reflect these improvements.

I'm using v2.3 Pro on Mac, primarily.

Editing items works by keyboard, not sure if you missed it or they added it since your review. You can enter editing mode on a node with F2 or double-clicking. Initially, all text is selected but command-leftArrow or Home take you to the start of text, a simple arrow leaves the insertion point at the end.

Export now includes MindManager .mmap files which I've verified import nicely into MindJet Mac. Of course, if you have structured a map using something XMind-specific, like 2D charts, you just get a plain mind map in MindJet.

I think the problem with their RTF Export is that they are including a GIF picture which none of the Mac importers can handle.

Printing seems improved since the various reviews and I've also just used the PDF export to give people documents which include the full mindmap as a scalable vector picture as well as the outline points below.

I'm impressed, overall, and happily recommending the product.
