Manuel—glad you enjoy the script! And I'm sorry for my delayed response.

I've encountered the same issue and haven't had any success debugging. I may contact OmniGroup for support.

Zvi – concur. The beauty of Evernote is that it can theoretically capture those handwritten notes as well... but of course it's easy to get out of the habit of capturing that info. My physical inbox is always more cluttered than my electronic one.

Great way to put it in terms of short- vs long-term memory – I agree. I'd like to see a more seamless transition between the two, though.

I think you've got it -- spot on!

Evernote isn't a replacement for a program like DEVONthink, but it's a useful supplement to it. For my workflow, I tend to think of Evernote as "short-term memory" and DEVON as my "long-term memory": The stuff that I'm currently working on (and need easy web access to) goes into Evernote. When it's time to file stuff away, DEVON scoops it up.

The lack of nested folder hierarchies in Evernote "cramps my style" as well -- hoping that they change that (as well as address the "openness" issues you raise in this post). That said, Evernote is really on the right track!

If they can continue to refine the product, I think they may end up at the top of many people's lists for information management.

Fantastic! I have been looking into something like this for a long time, having requested it from the Omni people as a toolbar option. Well here it is! However I am getting an error wnen selecting several actions and trying to snooze one day.

AppleScript reported the following error:
OmniFocus got an error: Can’t get tree 15 of tree 1 of content of document window id 448 of document id "oeJ-vPFksgV". Invalid index.

Do you know how to fix this?

Thanks

Hi Dan,

I recently adapted this (excellent) script to do Batch Archiving of feed items into Evernote and thought you might be interested:
NNW to Evernote -- Batch Archiving

I also wrote a different script geared toward moving items one at a time -- geared towards filing stuff away while you're reading through your news items:
NNW to Evernote -- Headline/Tab Archiving

Take a gander and, naturally, any suggestions or improvements would be appreciated.

Finally, I wanted to thank you for your work on the DEVON script. I've enjoyed reading through the code you wrote and, even more, getting my NNW stuff into DEVONThink properly with a minimum of effort. ;)

Kind Regards,
Justin

I can't get this to work at all. I am using the latest version of 1password 2.9.1, which has reintroduced bookmarklets. They work fine in Safari on the Mac, but not in Windows, either Firefox, Safari, Chrome or IE.

Anyone help?

I too have issues with their TOS, and they do provide the following clause:

'If you choose to remove your User Content, the license granted above will automatically expire...'

But I doubt there is one big 'Remove all my content' button (not that I've looked).

I actually found your site looking for confirmation that the RSS import on Facebook actually works, mine hasn't been.

Thanks for the tip!
